The Powless Family
This past Sunday at the TBF Racing MTB Kickstart, a 15 yr old finished third overall, just 8 seconds behind Clint Claassen, a Pro MTB Rider who two years ago was the 25-29 National Champion. That is not unusual for Neilson Powless who has been racing with TBF since he was 5 years old. His big sister Shayna, who recently graduated High School, was honored to receive an offer for Sponsorship from a professional mountain bike team. Shayna was the first female expert finisher in Sunday’s race. Both Mom and Dad – top athletes themselves, were out to support Neilson and Shayna by volunteering and cheering them on at the race. The Powless family has been a part of the ‘TBF Family’ for over 10 years.

TBF Racing is excited to announce 15 New Multisport races for our 2012 season. These include four new Trail Runs; including the China Peak Trail Half Marathon, five new Duathlons as part of the Spring Dash 4 Cash Series, and SIX new Triathlons, with three new Saturday Olympic distance USAT races added.
For the spring we have three new Trail Runs: the Gumby 10K and 5K on February 4th, the Escape from Folsom 10 Miler on February 18th, and the Lost Trail Half Marathon on March 3rd. We have also added a Trail Half Marathon to go with our China Peak Triathlon on August 11th, held at China Peak Ski Resort outside of Fresno, a beautiful mountain playground.
