Race Information:

The Gumby 10K Trail Run is back in 2014 with the 5K Run/Walk event also. This race will feature a custom Gumby tech t-shirt, hot food, plus awards three deep in each division and raffle prizes!

TBF Trail Run 3-Race Special: Gumby 10K, Escape from Folsom 10 Miler & Lost Trail Half Marathon: $100 til 12/1/13, $125 til February 2nd.

5K Run/Walk: $30 until 11/31/13, $35 until race day, $40 race day

3-Race Series: $100 until 11/31/13, $125 after 12/1/13

Course Description:

The Gumby 10K starts along the shore of Folsom Lake and after a short section on pavement begins climbing the small hills of the shoreline for an out and back course that veers once to a scenic point along the lake and returns up some short but steep hills, with aid stations spread evenly along the course. There is a climb up Mooney Ridge on the way back to the finish line.

Aid Stations:

Aid stations will be located on the course at miles 1, 2.5, 3.5, and 5 – each serving cold water and electrolyte beverage.

Divisions and Awards:

First place Overall Male and Female in the Gumby 10K will receive Overall Champion Awards. There will be awards three deep in each ten-year age group for the Gumby 10K. Awards will be given to First overall male and female, plus three deep in each ten-year age group for the 5k Run.


Listening devices of any kind: MP3, IPod, headphones, etc…are not allowed on the run or bike course. Helmets must be worn and buckled on the bike at all times. Run numbers must be worn on the run and when crossing the finish line.

Competitor Goodies:

Included for each competitor in the Gumby 10k & 5k is a custom Gumby tech-tee race shirt and athlete goody bag with CLIF Bar and Emerald Nuts product samples.

Sports Expo:

The post race sports expo will have vendors such as Total Body Fitness, Fleet Feet Sports, and Kinetic Cycles.

Refund and Transfer Information:

TBF Racing has a no refund policy on all of our events. A refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held rain or shine.


Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $40 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours. We ask volunteers to reserve a volunteer position at any of our events by emailing as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.

Training and Coaching:

TBF Training provides group workouts and coaching for the sport of Triathlon along with individual Multi-Sport Coaching and Personal Training.
